I love the angle and pose (im sure you drew it from a screenshot) but its still awesome :P
the shading looks good to me.
but yes scanners have a habbit of stealing shading from pictures.

as to the picture:

the pose is good and the expression does look like she is pissed off.

Nice pose. This was probably one of the better parts of the Naruto anime; and especially so during te Chuunin (sp?) Exams.
